Canterbury Open Championships

Dates : 16/17 May

Venue : Lincoln Events Centre, 15 Meijer Drive, Lincoln, Christchurch

Entries close : 6 May

Entry Fee : under 15’s – $ 40, 15 and older $ 50 (plus $ 20 for additional entries)

Weigh in 7:30 to 8:30 on the morning of competition, or …..

             * 5 – 7pm at 66C Magdala Place, on Friday, for Saturday competitors

             * 3 – 4pm at the Events Centre, for Sunday competitors

Programme : Saturday for 15 year and older, Sunday for under 15’s and kata.

Girls-Only Classes coming in May.

Venue : Main dojo of Nippon Judo Club

Times : Session is from 3 to 4 pm

Who can attend : – All female judo players, of all ages

                            – Any female (of any age) who has an interest in getting a good work-out without being thrown in that session. Jackets and belts will be provided, if required.

Cost : Totally free of Charge

To secure a place : just turn up with a positive attitude.

Special gi badges will be available at $ 10 per badge.
